I have been considering the idea of the ability of this growing population of audience being able to recognize when an individiaul person (not organization/corporation) is trying to sell them something on social media.
An increasing amount of Artists are approaching their social media from the fundamentals of a group when they story tell and and that approach could be a tool in which to measure the likelihood of an audience souring against.
My thoughts:
Please please please don’t try to tell the story on social media, just use social media like a person- we don’t have to worry about the story not being told: we’re telling a story, just not doing it on social media.
The story should be told in places that news is built for/expected to be told rather than places that stories take place in (the worlds in which stories are made)
A counter argument to this could be that the places in which stories take place has more eyes on it rather than the places in which stories are told. Wouldn’t it be optimal to get more eyes on the stories that are being told?
Eyes are on the story, it’s just a difference in when.
more counter arguments to be considered later.
